Grape residues
A pulpy residue after pressing the juice out of grapes is called marc or grape pomace. The mass consists of grape skins, residues of the grape meat and pits. Moisture of the marc is about 60% and that is the reason why it is difficult to use it as a biofuel. A lot of grape residue is produced in wine making countries as Spain, France, Italy. There are several products received from the grape residue.
